From Letterfrack in North Connemara, Yvonne Kane is a full-time musician and tutor.   Playing and touring with her sister Liz, the Kane Sisters were taught music by their grandfather, local fiddle player, Jimmy Mullen and Mary Finn, a Co.Sligo musician and teacher. Between them they  have over 200 students and they travel all over the west coast teaching fiddle.  We are delighted to welcome Yvonne Kane as a fiddle tutor at Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds.

Born in London, John was exposed to a vibrant and thriving Irish music scene. Taught by legendary Clare man Brendan Mulkere, the flute quickly became his instrument of choice and he added to that by picking up guitar and piano skills in his teens. He forged a musical partnership with fiddler Lamond Gillespie and in later years released 2 albums with Lamond, and bouzouki player Mick Leahy. Upon moving to Ireland in 1998, John became highly in-demand as a guitar player, performing and recording with many musicians  Colm Gannon, The Kane Sisters, Harry Bradley and Téada to name but a few. John has just received a 1st class honours - Mmus in Music Performance masters degree from DIT. He also teaches and performs all over Ireland, USA, and the UK on Piano, Guitar, Flute and Whistle.

Current senior All-Ireland Button accordion champion Daithi Gormley is from from County Sligo. He hails from an an area richly steeped in the Irish music tradition and has been playing from a young age.  Daithi teaches at various festivals and summer schools throughout the year. He is a much sought after music teacher. He is a member of the, twice pipped for first place, Knocknashee Céilí Band. This is Daithí's first visit to Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds and we extend a warm welcome to him !

PADRAIC KEANE
Pádraic joins us at the Larry Reynolds Feile Cheoil festival for the first time as a Flute Tutor.  He is an accomplished player in flute, tin whistle and uilleann pipes. Pádraic Keane hails from Maree, Co. Galway and was born into a great musical family in 1991.  He is a tutor at various workshops in uilleann pipes, flute and whistle including Cooley Collins Traditional Festival and the Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy. 
In 2011 he was awarded Gradam Ceoil TG4 – Ceoltóir Óg na Bliana (TG4 Music Award - Young Musician of the Year).
He is featured on "The Rolling Wave" - a CD of young pipers issued by Na Píobairí Uilleann in 2012. In 2014 he collaborated with the RTE Concert Orchestra by performing at a number of occasions.

Banjo - Colm Naughton - Banjo - Colm Naughton

Colm Naughton is a renowned banjo and mandolin player from Creggs in North-East Galway. When he moved to Galway in 1994 he became immersed in the vibrant Trad Scene. In 1998 he became involved in the setting up and teaching at The Galway School of Trad Music. He continues to teach Banjo and has been collaborated on many recordings.
