We have a fine line-up of trad musicians for The Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds Irish Music Pub Trail which takes place in various venues around Ballinasloe on Saturday & Sunday 9th & 10th September.

Only a month to go to the 4th Feile Cheoil Larry Reynolds, Friday 8th to Sunday 10th September 2017.

We are so lucky to have this fantastic facility in Ballinasloe that is our local library which is in what was The Convent of Mercy. Part of this building is now the Church Gallery and Kikiin this very historic building will be a Photo Exhibition, "Ballinasloe Then & Now". Put together by local photographers Evelyn Donnellan, Gerry Stronge, Liam Jordan, Robbie Riddell and a man who has collected and shared some great photos of Ballinasloe and its people down through the years, Gerry Devlin. It's runs for the week up to and including Feile Cheoil Larry Reynolds. Admission is free, make sure to pop in any time during opening hours.

Another real treat in store for Feile Cheoil Larry Reynolds, Saturday 10th September, an Historical Walking Tour of Ballinasloe at 3pm from Crumbs and Cream on Main Street. Learn about the rich history of this planned town, for centuries the gateway to the west of Ireland. There is no charge for this tour which will be given by local man Sean Tully, who will regale you with the history, the folklore and characters of Ballinasloe. Please call 0879046140 in advance.

​We are delighted to be hosting the first Larry Reynolds All Ireland Open U-18 Fiddle Competition at this year's Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds.  With an attractive prize fund of €250 plus a Larry Reynolds Jnr Sponsored Perpetual Cup is certain to be of the highest calibre. Closing Date: Friday 9th September at 5pm.

On Sunday afternoon, the final day of Fleadh Cheoil Larry Reynolds Gatehouse will perform in The Pillar House for the launch of their new CD, Tús Nua. Gatehouse are a newly formed traditional group that include musicians John Wynne (flute), John McEvoy (fiddle), Jacinta McEvoy (guitar, concertina) and Rachel Garvey (vocals).
