Button Accordion - Danny O'Mahony

Danny hails from Ballyduff in County Kerry. He has a keen interest in regional styles and historical accordion practices that is integral to his own style of playing. Danny is a highly sought-after tutor and performer with years of experience, winning both junior and senior All-Ireland titles and graduating from the University of Limerick with a Master’s in Performance.
We are delighted to welcome Danny to Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds for the first time.
Flute - Céin Sweeney

Céin Sweeney - We welcome for the second time, Céin Sweeney Hailing from Killeshandra, County Cavan, Céin has toured across Europe, the UK, and America with several groups. Céin also won the all-Ireland senior flute competition in 2015. Céin is a well-sought after musician and has taught across Ireland at various workshops, festivals, and fleadh's. Céin is part of the group Carlos, Sweeney, McCartin alongside Dylan Carlos on fiddle and John McCartin on guitar who released their debut album in 2019 to much success.
Fiddle - Dylan Carlos (SOLD OUT)

We welcome back Dylan Carlos to the festival as this year’s fiddle tutor. Dylan comes from a very musical family in County Roscommon. Having grown up in the home of flute playing, Dylan took up the fiddle, but is still heavily influenced by the music in his local area. He is a member of the group Carlos, Sweeney, McCartin who released their debut album in 2019 and also performs with the group ‘Gatehouse’ from time to time. He is a past All-Ireland winner on fiddle and teaches regularly at workshops and festivals around Ireland and abroad.
Banjo - George Mc Adam (SOLD OUT)

George McAdam is a banjo player from Ballybay in County Monaghan. Having started playing the banjo at a young age, George has won numerous junior and senior All-Ireland titles. George is a much sought-after performer, recording artist and tutor throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America. George plays the drums with the Blackwater Céilí Band, winning the All-Ireland Senior Céilí Band title in 2018. The band launched their debut album entitled ‘Music in the Valley’ in June 2019. He also featured as a guest artist on ‘Carlos, Sweeney, McCartin’.
This is George’s first year to the festival and we wish to extend a warm welcome to him.
Bodhrán - Mairtin Gavin

We are delighted to welcome back highly popular and experienced bodhrán player and tutor, Martin Gavin. Born and bred in Ballinasloe, Martin has been a friend of the festival since its inception. Martin recorded the album Island Eddy’ as part of the band of the same name, featuring Brendan Larrissey, Brian Duke, and Jim McKee among guest musicians.
